Days Inn By Wyndham Princeton

We got a room with a bath.

Everything looks great. The units where tidy with 2 beds. The setting is marvellous, just next door to restaurants and interstate, Princeton, WV and the conference center, shopping area.

The location was CONVENIENT, close enough to a sit down restaurant nearby for a fuller breakfast menu, nice resturants, and all restaurants areas and all shopping areas.

Some people working there were very rude.

Location was good. Surrounded by a large selection of restaurants. Price was good but could have been cleaner and more functional. Everything other than the door worked fine.

We had to make an extra trip to the office to have the card re-keyed because it was done incorrectly the first time. The door was damaged, needing repair and wouldn't unlock/open without a major struggle. The room was fairly clean, not clean enough. To assure the room would be cleaned better, I removed all sheets, pillow cases, towels and placed all inside one pillow case by the door. I also bagged up all the trash from the waste baskets and bundled by the door. I hoped this would save some time for the cleaning crew so they could pay attention to other details. The pillows were extremely thin and short. Not enough support at night, giving me a major migraine the following morning. The towels weren't much larger than hand towels or dish towels and thin. I probably wouldn't go there again.

The atmosphere of the hotel is family.

We were given one price on the way down, and a more expensive price on the way back home. We tried to use our AARP or AAA card as seniors (68),and we paid $62 on the way down in Princeton, WV. We paid $84 !!!! On the way back in the very same motel!!!! The room was much smaller and I forgot to ask for handicapped. The first person at the desk said he could "override" the fist price and he did!

Needed a place just to crash for the night, and it did the trick. The room was clean, comfy bed, and everything was in order. Plus, the location was super convenient with tons of dining options nearby. We found a great state park just 20 minutes away, perfect for a quick adventure!

The staff made the stay excellent. We had a couple of problems that were resolved immediately and with complete kindness. The waffles at breakfast make it worth the trip downstairs when it was chilly.

The beds were a little saggy but it was ok.

I would stay here again and would recommend to anyone. I would say it's wonderful base for staying and exploring Princeton. The location is marvellous and comfortable, close to everything. You'll need 5 minutes to walk to Texas Steakhouse & Saloon with nice drinks.
